WOW has it been a LONG time since anything has been posted to our blog! So much has changed in 6 years, yet so little. Dra continues her artistry in finely made garments that are not only beautiful, but so comfortable to wear every day. There are probably a couple of new styles in the last several years, and there are certainly some magnificent new embrodered designs for you to see at the faires.
Dra is busily preparing for the trip to Tuxedo for the New York Renaissance Festival season in August and September. If you have never been to this faire, you really do need to think about going. It is one of the more quaint and authentic faires we've attended. Dra and Harold will be there to greet you, share their wonderful jokes, and generally have a great time. The faire is set on a beautiful mountainside with a village that is a joy to wander through.
Don't forget to come see us down south at the Texas Renaissance Festival in October and November. Dra will be at #255 by the jousting field along with Keli and Pam. You never know what these three might be doing when you stop in. You might find them excitedly interacting with customers, on the floor playing jacks, shooting marshmallows at unsuspecting patrons, or just shouting out to the crowd. Up at the front gate in booth #4, you'll find Kandy, Chuck, and Shylo. These three are just about as unpredictable in their merry making as Dra and the others. Come see us. There are sure to be some embroidered items you've not yet seen and, as we all know, YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH DRA GARMENTS!
We would like to expres our deepest gratitude to our many loyal customers and friends! Although you will no longer find us at Bristol, we remain at the Texas Renaissance Festival, New York Renaissance Festival in Tuxedo, and the North Texas Irish Festival. Sadly, it looks like we will be leaving Scarborough Faire in the near future. Worry not! We are currently seeking new venues in which to share Dra's incredible garments with all new groups of people. Keep your eyes open at weekend events such as boat shows, gun shows, local street faires and such. You never know where we might pop in, but if you keep checking back here, we'll let you know in advance.

MidSummer Fantasy Ball
TeamWench was formed four years ago by three women with Multiple Sclerosis and banded together through the Maryland chapter of the International Wenches Guild and by involvement in a Renaissance-oriented newsgroup all dedicated to finding a cure through participation in charity events, such as the MidSummer Fantasy Ball to be held this August 7th, 2004 at Michael's 8th Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD.
Monies from the funds raised through ticket sales to the Ball and a serios of on-site raffles that will be held during the Ball go directly to the TeamWench Walkers, and ultimately towards MS. During the Ball there will be the annual Pirate Feast which helped to raise over $7,000 for Breast Cancer research!

Scarborough Renaissance Faire Ends
Well SRF has ended so we will be traveling along the highways during this next week. Please note that all orders through today will be processed as normal.

If you have been waiting to gnaw on a Turkey leg, swill some lemonade, and grab some of the most comfortable cotton clothing to wear in the Texas heat, this is your last chance!
Open from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday, Sunday AND Memorial Day Monday, we are located in Hollyfield in Shoppe #28. With the beautiful tall shade trees and grounds, walking about this faire continues to be a pleasure and we would like to Thank everyone that had the chance to come see us this season.

What's New in the Renaissance World?
Well Scarborough Renaissance Festival is open every Saturday and Sunday (to include Memorial Day) through the end of May! If you have not been, this festival is over 35 acres of beautiful trees, the best in jousting, the hottest in Don Juan and Migual Duels, and the sassy, sweetness of Iris and Rose, those two thorny wenches!
